The Lansing Lions Club was sponsored by the Hammond Lions Club in 1937 and has since sponsored eight other clubs; Calumet City (1939),Harvey (1946), South Holland (1946), Chicago East Side (1948), Homewood (1948), Chicago Hegewisch (1962), Lynwood (1974), Sauk Village (2004) and Flossmoor Roshni (2009).
We are the Home Club of two Past District Governors, Lion William Last Sr. (1964-65) and Lion Ken Straka (1977-78).
We have Five Life Members and Thirty Five Melvin Jones Fellows in our club.
Our Golf Outing is scheduled ( to Be Determined) at the Lansing Country Club. Please call any Lion member for information.

Academic Scholarship Program. We have given over $196,000 in scholarships to local residents for college. Scholarship recipients must major in the medical field. contact a club member for more information.
