The Lansing Lions Club was sponsored by the Hammond Lions Club in 1937 and has since sponsored eight other clubs; Calumet City (1939),Harvey (1946), South Holland (1946), Chicago East Side (1948), Homewood (1948), Chicago Hegewisch (1962), Lynwood (1974) and Sauk Village (2004).

We are the Home Club of two Past District Governors, Lion William Last Sr. (1964-65) and Lion Ken Straka (1977-78).

We have Five Life Members and Thirty Three Melvin Jones Fellows in our club.

Our Golf Outing is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Lansing Country Club. Please call any Lion member for information.
